Wind and Water Guard™
Cofair’s Stormblock Wind & Water Guard
is a self-adhering waterproofing underlayment
membrane designed for extreme
applications. It is composed of a tough
multi-layer high-strength polymer film
coated with a layer of specially formulated
rubberized asphalt adhesive. A
release sheet protects the asphalt and is
removed as the membrane is installed.
To improve surface traction, a raised pattern
has been embedded into the top of
the polymer film.
Stormblock Wind & Water Guard underlayment
is engineered to be suitable for
use under all roofing materials. The rubberized
asphalt adhesive and the reinforced
polymer film are formulated to
work in higher temperature applications
such as under metal roofing. Stormblock
Wind & Water Guard adheres aggressively
to most clean, dry substrates
including metal, wood, oriented strand
board, foam board, vinyl and masonry.
The special Stormblock Wind & Water
Guard polymer modified waterproofing
compound self-seals around punctures
such as nails, screws and staples. This
advanced system will bond to the substrate
and will seal around fasteners to
prevent damage caused by water penetration.

Underlayment for shingle, clay tile,
cement, synthetic, shake, and metal roofing.
May also be used to waterproof
under stucco at head, sill, chimney shoulder,
pot shelves, parapets, and pony
walls.
